THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. THIS NOTICE IS ISSUED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS. A SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION WILL BE POSTED AT A LATER DATE WHICH WILL PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OFFERORS TO RESPOND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), Contracting Department (Code 400), is issuing this sources sought notice. The sources sought is being issued as a means of conducting market research to determine the interest and capability of Industry to provide ventilation cleaning for up to 8,000 linear feet of ventilation duct work and in-line components on a US Navy Submarine at Trident Refit Facility in Silverdale, WA. The contractor MUST Comply with the requirements as detailed in Ventilation Systems Manual S9512-AF-MMA-010 REV 4 CH 2; and clean to condition noted in Naval Ships Technical Manual (NSTM) Chapter 510, S9086-RQ-STM-010, REV-7, DTD 1 MAY 2006; Navy Ventilation Cleanliness Assessment Guide, Appendix B, pages B-1 through B-22.
