SOURCES SOUGHT PURPOSE: The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (AAIHS), Santa Fe Indian Health Center (SFIHC) and Satellite Clinics (specified below) has a requirement for One (1) Physical Therapist and One (1) Therapist Assistant, Santa Fe, NM 87505. STATEMENT OF WORK: Physical Therapist Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Function as a staff physical therapist in a predominantly outpatient orthopedic setting with intermittent inpatient services. Work as the sole physical therapist with the help of a PT Tech on Mondays through Friday. Co-sign PT Tech documentation as needed and supervise PT Tech patient care as needed.4. As necessary, consults with the prescribing physician and aid the physician in the selection of appropriate DME, orthotics/braces, outside referrals involving patient care. Use PCC paper documentation & electronic health record for patient care related documentation as needed. Use computer profiles, programs, documents, and records to answer questions from patients regarding their physical therapy.
