SOURCES SOUGHT – IDIQ Contract for Wood Utility Poles The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is conducting market research to identify qualified businesses capable of furnishing and delivering treated Pacific Coast Douglas Fir wood utility poles in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings. The Government anticipates establishing a Firm-Fixed-Price IDIQ contract with a three (3) year ordering period. Orders will be issued on an as-needed basis. Delivery locations include various WAPA facilities throughout the Upper Great Plains, Rocky Mountain, Desert Southwest, and Sierra Nevada Regions as listed in Attachment C. Deliveries require contractor self-offloading into WAPA storage bunks. This notice is for market research purposes and will be used to determine the availability of qualified small business concerns, the potential for a small business set-aside, and the appropriate acquisition platform.
