CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES Type of Notice: Special Notice Title: Notice of Intent for scientific electronic journal subscriptions Description: Contract licenses perpetual access to electronic journals and e-books published by Canadian Science Publishing for USDA-wide use, avoiding duplicative contracts and enabling long-term access to high-use content. It supports USDA science across mission areas and fulfills the National Agricultural Library's (NAL) statutory role under 7 U.S.C. § 3125a(d)(3) to "provide agricultural information and information products and services to agencies of the Department of Agriculture". This contract also supports cost efficiency through competitive pricing and consolidated delivery of essential scientific materials across the department.
