This announcement is for notification (a notice) only that a solicitation is being issued for the Modernization of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM’s) for Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) by replacing the old CMM’s with 2 Zeiss Contura 9/12/6 CMM’s. The solicitation number is W519TC-25-Q-CMMM. The Government has an approved Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition (Attachment 0006) and is only seeking a quote from Zeiss / R.L. Guimont Co. Inc. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Zeiss / R.L. Guimont Co. Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
