The awarded Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Task Order was not awarded competitively, in accordance with FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C). This new task order award is a logical follow-on to previously competed and awarded Task Orders where the awardees under Track B of the NASA Inflatable Aerodynamic Decelerators (IAD) IDIQ Contract were given a fair opportunity.
