Statement of Need GENERAL: The purpose of this Statement of Need (SON) is to facilitate the expansion of our temperature and humidity monitoring system, TempTrak, at the Bay Pines VAMC, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Fl 33744, their off-site CBOC s BACKGROUND: The Bay Pines VAMC currently utilizes TempTrak for the monitoring of the Pharmacy and Laboratory Service refrigerators and freezers temperature. We would like to expand the monitoring capabilities to the Patient Nourishment refrigerators and freezers at the Bay Pines VAMC. The room temperature and Humidity sensors at the CBOC s need to be upgraded to have a digital display to view the temperature and humidity at the sensor. PURPOSE: This SON defines the requirements for the delivery and installation of temperature and humidity monitoring equipment from TempTrak. SCOPE: Contractor shall install name brand TempTrak equipment used to provide temperature monitoring. Delivery and installation shall be determined post award of the contract.
