This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Optos, 50 Nickerson Rd, Marlborough, MA 01752. to renew a service agreement on the Optos California FA, QTY 3. The National Eye Institute (NEI) conducts and supports high-quality, innovative research to understand the eye and visual system, develop new treatments for vision loss, and advance knowledge of how the visual system functions in both health and disease. The OPTOS California FA is a retinal imaging system that uses fluorescein angiography (FA) to detect and manage a range of eye diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma, by providing a comprehensive, ultra-widefield view of the retina in a single scan.
