This Justification and Approval (J&A) supports the sole source procurement of two Becker Medical Vacuum Pumps from Wonder State Solutions to replace failed pumps serving patient care areas 83 Med/Surg beds, 6 Acute SCI beds, 4 GI procedure suites, and 4 Operating Rooms. Currently the hospital is on N+0 for a critical patient care medical gas system. Immediate action is required to reduce risk of complete failure of the vacuum pumps.
