The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District is anticipating a future procurement for a firm-fixed-price construction contract for Maintenance Dredging at Quinby Creek Channel, Accomack County, Virginia. Description of Work: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District is seeking eligible firms capable of performing maintenance dredging of Quinby Creek Channel in Accomack County, Virginia. The work consists of dredging approximately 200,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from the Federal channel. All material will be dredged by hydraulic cutter head pipeline dredge with the dredged material placed hydraulically within the overboard placement site in Upshur Bay. Maximum dredging contract pay depths will be -7 feet mean lower low water. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated construction price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
