The Department of Veterans Affairs, New York Harbor Healthcare System at Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Medical Center and Brooklyn VA Medical Center (VISN 2 South), intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed-price, open market, five-year BPA to Werfen USA, LLC, in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.303-2. The acquisition sought is a BPA that will cover consumables and supplies needed to produce a reagent rental, cost per test contract. The NAICS is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. PSC is 6632. New York Harbor Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service requires state-of-the-art blood gas analyzers to perform testing both at ancillary sites on the Brooklyn and Manhattan campuses, and in the core laboratories. The needs of VA New York Harbor are unique because testing will be performed by both laboratory professionals and ancillary clinical staff.
