The Sources Sought notice is posted by the Government agency seeking possible sources for a project. This notice is not a solicitation for work or a request for a project. The purpose of this notice is to identify interested and capable vendors to perform the work described below and to incorporate the results of this notice into the Government's Market Research Report. This project involves the upgrade of Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) across the installation. Having investigated all LPS requirements, the 354 CES has prioritized systems for upgrade based on their mission criticality. The initial facilities slated for LPS upgrades include Comm Services (B2268), Base OPS/Air Traffic Control Tower (B1215/1216), Railhead and Pad (B89006), Q-Hill MUNS Build Up (B6370), Denali Pad (B1325), and Telephone Exchange (B3110). Each of these facilities has undergone risk assessments in accordance with NFPA 780 to determine lightning strike vulnerability and the subsequent need for an LPS.
