Procurement is to replace the existing Tablet and Capsule Automation (IPD area) and ancillary support systems at the Dallas CMOP with new, proven pharmacy automation (TCA) that is faster, safer, and more reliable. Hardware shall include, but is not limited to, pucks, puck conveyance, labelers, weight scale, automatic dispensers, canisters, post weight scales, high resolution camera, exception station, workstations, pharmacy verification stations, cappers, sealers, and associated tote conveyors. Tote line upgrades are needed to increase tote capacity and reduce choke points which will increase throughput throughout the system. The new Tablet Capsule Automation aka TCA, plus Tote line upgrade equipment must be fully integrated with the existing Pharmacy Operating System (POS) and Tote Conveyor and production system, with no single point of failure that meets the accuracy, timeliness, and throughput requirements of the dynamic workload of the Dallas CMOP.
