The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base Oklahoma requires Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Access Control Systems (ACS) source and install in LAMS facilities at Ebbing Field, Arkansas. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to ADVANTOR (CAGE: 1S063), due to only one source being capable of providing service and/or preventative maintenance within the closed stand-alone system. The proprietary nature of this software/equipment limits any other contractor from upgrading this system. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement.
