The maximum of $7,450,000.00 is the estimated ceiling of the contact over the 5 years. The $7,450,000.00 was raised to $7,750,000.00 in error and has been reduced in the next amendment. If the quote comes in under the ceiling, the ceiling is not guaranteed. If the quote is higher than the ceiling, the quoted price becomes the ceiling upon award. My understanding is that we can still submit a proposal even if our pricing exceeds the stated ceiling.
