This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued, and quotations will not be requested. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Entech Instruments, Inc. for an Entech 3100DM SL2+ Oven Canister Cleaning System, which will include shipping and installation. The requirement is for delivery, installation and demonstration of the Entech 3100DM+ Oven Canister Cleaning System. The delivery time for equipment is 120 days from the contract award date, the warranty requirement is 12 months from the date of delivery and a 14-day delivery notification is required prior to delivery. The can cleaner restores previously used containers for use again in the analytical systems that perform volatile analysis of ambient air, indoor air and soil gas samples using EPA Toxic Organics (TO) method TO-15 (Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) collected in canisters). The product specified in this procurement is needed by LSASD and is only available from one manufacturer.
