The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY), located in Kittery, Maine, is seeking information from qualified and experienced contractors regarding the provision of comprehensive maintenance, modification, and inspection services for its fleet of Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV). This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather industry best practices, innovative solutions, and market insights to inform the development of a future solicitation for a 5-year contract. This RFI is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Background and Scope: PNSY's mission-critical overhaul and maintenance operations rely on a diverse fleet of approximately 150 PIVs. This fleet includes various brands and models (e.g., Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, JLG Lifts), with an exact inventory list to be provided in the future solicitation. The quantity and composition of the PIV inventory are subject to change during the term of the contract based on lifecycle replacement, new procurement, and end-of-life disposition of PIV, as needed to meet the Shipyard’s operational needs.
