The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is conducting market research to assess industry interest and availability for upcoming Power Generation and Microgrid projects at the following locations and anticipated timelines: USAG Ansbach Storck Barracks, Germany: FY 2026 USAG Ansbach Katterbach / Bismarck, Germany: FY 2027 USAG Benelux Zutendaal, Belgium: FY 2027 USAG Benelux Chievres Air Base, Belgium: FY 2028 USAG Ansbach / Shipton Urlas-Kasernes: FY 2029 These projects will involve the construction of microgrids incorporating a range of scope elements, including (but not limited to): diesel generators, natural gas lines, information and communication systems, microgrid systems, switchgear, photovoltaic systems, centralized generation with controls, electrical/telecommunication duct banks, and peak shaving control systems. Projects of similar size will include new construction diesel generation systems handling loads of 0.5 2.5MW. We are tentatively planning a Programmatic Industry Day event in late October/early November 2025.
