In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.1.3.11.1, the FAA has awarded Contract Number 693KA7-25-C-00019 to Saab Inc. 85 Collamer Crossings, East Syracuse, NY 13057 on September 29, 2025. This award is the result of an unrestricted competition under Screening Information Request (SIR) 693KA7-25-R-00001, for the Surface Movement Radar, Model 4, Replacement for Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model 3 Surface Movement Radar (ASDE-3 SMR). The subject contract uses a hybrid contract type: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost-Reimbursement (CR), Task and Delivery Orders. Contract 693KA7-25-C-00019 has a period of performance of one (1) 3-year base period, one (1) 6-year option period, and one (1) 5-year option period. The total value of this contract is $267,341,617.18, if all options are exercised.
