Posting Responses to Questions through 8/25/25: Question: What size containers do you require? Answer: Section 5.4 of the PWS states: The contractor shall supply and establish services for one (1) 4 cubic yard garbage container for each lock site. The containers shall be emptied at minimum of once per week, the contractor will notify the COR on which reoccurring day each site will be serviced. Refer to Technical Exhibit 4 for container locations. Question: How many security gates are there to go through? I have a subcontractor who would like to conduct a site visit if possible. Answer: Each site has two security gates, but TJO will only require access through the first one. All three sites normally have a supervisor, M-F 0600-1600, if you would like to make a visit. CHL – Navy Pier Entrance where guests need to buzz in at and the sliding gate at the lock entrance. TJO – Both gates are located at the end of the access road, the first gate is typically open on weekdays at 0600 and where the container is located currently.
