NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT NOTIFICATION ? CONTRACT 2D: CHANNEL WALLS, AND CONTRACT 2E: BOTTOM OF THE CHANNEL, RIO PUERTO NUEVO PROJECT, SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO. This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source, not a request for proposals. No solicitation document will be issued, and proposals will not be requested. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Caribbean District intends to negotiate on a noncompetitive, sole-source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) (?Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?), with ARCADIS U.S., INC to provide engineering support during construction. This service will be delivered to the Caribbean District, USACE. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330, with a size standard of $25.5 million. The selected contractor will provide Engineering During Construction (EDC) services for Contract 2D: Channel Walls and Contract 2E: Bottom of the Channel as part of the Rio Puerto Nuevo Project, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
