It is the intent of this specification to secure an engine-driven generator set that has been factory built, production-tested, and site-tested together with all accessories necessary for a complete installation as shown on the drawings and specified herein.2. Any exceptions to the published specifications shall be subject to the approval of the Governing agency.3. It is the intent of this specification to secure a generator set system. The generator set will be a commercial design and will be complete with all the necessary accessories for complete installation.4. The equipment supplied shall meet the requirements of the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and regulations.5. All equipment shall be new and of current production by a power system manufacturer of generators, transfer switches, and switchgear.
