THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD has a requirement to procure engineering services to support Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (AC&R) systems on all Navy surface ships and submarines. See attached draft statement of work for further details regarding these services. It is the Government's intention to procure these services on a sole-source basis. Accordingly, NSWCPD is requesting information from any and all interested sources in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy. The Contractor will provide engineering and technical services in support of the 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 300, 363, 450, 500, 800 and 1100-ton single stage centrifugal air conditioning systems, high efficiency, super capacity two-stage centrifugal air conditioning systems, 130, 111 and 110-ton dual screw compressor air conditioning systems, “FN”, “RN” and “Y53” series reciprocating compressor air conditioning and refrigeration systems, rotary vane refrigeration systems, and modular refrigeration units (MRUs).
