DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project consists of a base and option maintenance dredging the Intracoastal Waterway channel (IWW) in the vicinity of Jupiter (BASE) and St. Lucie (OPTION A) Inlets. These two areas are approximately 16 miles apart along the IWW channel. The area to be dredged at St. Lucie Inlet is referred to locally as the Crossroads because it is the junction of the IWW, Okeechobee Waterway (OWW), and the St. Lucie Inlet channels.
