CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES Title: Notice of Intent for Repair of a Perkin Elmer ICP-OES Avio 500 (serial number 081S1808172) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This procurement will be processed pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. No solicitation will be issued. Description: Task requirements might include but are not limited to the following: a new torch pneumatic board or other unquoted parts. It is possible once the contractor is on-site that different parts may be responsible for the failure and that further parts and labor time might be required. It is also possible that the torch pneumatics component listed will not be needed. They have set an initial labor time of 4 hours and a base service charge. The base service charge covers 6 hours of travel/labor. The round-trip distance from the OEM hub is 6 hours.
