Page 2 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to University Michigan, 503 Thompson Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109. The period of performance for contract award will be on or about September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026, with a provision of three (3) option years. This requirement is to provide the VA Airborne Hazards and Burn Pits Center of Excellence (AHBPCE) with services from the University of Michigan that has extensive knowledge and expertise in quantitative analysis of high-resolution chest computed tomography (HRCT) scans. They will provide data management and quantitative analysis services of HRCTs. The AHBPCE has acquired paired inspiratory and expiratory HRCTs from Veterans referred for clinical evaluation and/or volunteers for research.
