This is a notice of the Government s intent to award a sole source, open market purchase order in accordance with 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The justification for this sole source action is the authority at FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with WAVEMARK, INC (UEI: LGNZKY4RM3U3) for Maintenance and Support Services for the WaveMark equipment including (12) RFID Smart Cabinets and (2) Moment-of-Care (formally Point of Use) Stations. All equipment to be maintained is located at the Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Durham, North Carolina. The equipment to be maintained is proprietary technology owned by WaveMark, Inc under Cardinal Health. There are no sources authorized by the manufacturer to maintain the equipment other than the manufacturer, WaveMark, Inc.
