The Department of Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) Surgical Care Clinic Center, Baltimore Campus has a requirement for Autologous Blood Services. Place of Performance: Baltimore VA Medical Center, 10 N Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is September 01, 2025 through August 31, 2026 with four (4) one (1) year option periods. Description of Services: The Contractor shall furnish all key personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite Autotransfusion Services to eligible beneficiaries. The Autotransfusionist is responsible for responding to calls and providing services as needed. They will also provide maintenance and servicing of contractor owned equipment and maintain a record of such. They will set up and operate Autotransfusion pump for surgical procedures other than open heart. Also, generates a record during each surgical case to include the surgical time of the procedure and the amount of autotransfused blood given to attending surgeon for delivery to the patient and handle breakdown of disposable within autotransfusion pump after completion of each procedure.
