This is a notification that the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Asset Forfeiture Division (AFD) intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract under statutory authority 41 USC 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. The current contractor, K2K9 Solutions LLC. located at 369 Currie Rd. Jackson Spring, NC 27281, is providing services for onsite seizure/evidentiary support, transportation, daily care, veterinary treatment, food, kenneling, expert witness services as needed, and disposal services for canines involved in illegal fighting operations. This notice is to inform industry contractors of the Governments intent to execute a sole source award to provide uninterrupted, high-quality continuity of support maintenance for the Agency's seized and forfeited assets.
