Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Mexico City will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov when it is available. The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City has a requirement for a professional contractor to provide materials and labor, to increase the size of the Supply Side Bonding Jumper (SSBJ) at the secondary side of the LV Dry Transformers of the Mexico City NEC electrical system. The work is required to be performed in the Mexico City New Embassy Compound, located at Col. Irrigacin, Alcalda Miguel Hidalgo. The existing Supply Side Bonding Jumpers (SSBJ) are undersized for dry type transformers sizes 15, 45, 75, 112.5, and 150 kVA, as well as the especial cases for 30 kVA transformers with 2/0 AWG secondary feeder and 112.5 kVA with (2) 2/0 AWG secondary feeders. Per NEC 2011, article 250.102 the SSBJ (between secondary and OCPD) need to be increased.
