The Department of the Interior (DOI) Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), on behalf of VA CFM has a requirement to provide advice and assistance on environmental, historic preservation, and sustainability issues, such as the analysis of potential environmental impacts from proposed projects; control of environmental contamination from pollutants, toxic substances, and hazardous materials; endangered species, storm water pollution prevention, spill control and countermeasures, wetland, watershed, and other natural resource management plans; and archaeological and/or cultural resource management plans. This includes identifying problems (e.g., inspect buildings for regulated materials), measure and evaluate risks, and recommend solutions.
