The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis the following items: Instron System Controller Upgrade (Qty 1 Lot). This requirement is sole sourced to Instron, 825 University Ave., Norwood, MA 02062. This upgrade is needed to retrofit the system with modern specifications for continued support. Instron is the OEM and has the only authorized technicians to complete this upgrade. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to [email protected] no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The response shall reference solicitation number N6893625Q5069 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
