Combined Synopsis/Solicitation NAICS 334511

The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is issuing this Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation on behalf of NSWCPD Division 52, SCS LCS FFG CG Branch (Code 522). It is the Government's intention to establish a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on a sole source basis for the procurement of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment from L3Harris Technologies, Inc. utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition, IAW FAR 6.302-1, as only L3Harris can meet the Government's requirements. The NSWCPD anticipates awarding BOA Order requirement to provide L3 Technologies for non-commercial electronic navigation and guidance components for a range of U.S. Navy surface ships. NSWCPD intends to issue a solicitation to the specified vendor to meet mission requirements. Prior to issuing a sole source solicitation, NSWCPD is requesting information in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy.
