Notice of Intent to Award a Sole-Source Contract. 1. Description: The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Albuquerque Area Office (AAO), Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center (ZCCHC) intends to award a sole-source contract to Hill-Rom, Inc. (UEI: KNLGMBCHK347) for the extension of the existing Voalte Nurse Call System as part of the Voalte Nurse Call Services Program. This procurement will provide continued access to the program’s software, system support, and entitlement services required to maintain operational functionality of the current Voalte Nurse Call System. The services program must be renewed annually to ensure continued access to maintenance and support entitlements. A detailed service description is provided within the statement of work (SOW). 2. Authority: This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which permits soliciting from a sole-source when the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
