This synopsis is for the Vegetation Reduction and Spreading Services at J. Strom Dam and Lake Project. This acquisition is being offered as a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation and will result in a single Firm Fixed Price Contract Award. The purpose of this contract is to reduce and spread vegetative material at the J. Strom Thurmond Dam and Lake Project. All material to be reduced is at the vegetation storage site (VSS). The project is located within South Carolina and Georgia, with the Project Management Office in Clarks Hill, South Carolina. Vegetation reduction and spreading will be conducted at the VSS, which is located on the project in Columbia County, GA. All actions and processes used shall be in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and Federal policies, regulations and laws. All reduction and spreading work shall be accomplished in the most efficient manner. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and services for operations which includes, but not limited to, vegetation reduction and spreading.
