Notice of Intent to Award / Sole Source The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility intends to award a non-competitive, sole sourced purchase order to Gold Standard Diagnostics Service for Platinum Service Agreement on AIX automated lab analyzer. The anticipated period of performance is from January 22, 2026 to January 21, 2027 with two one-year option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334516 - AIX automated lab analyzer with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The Proposed Contractor is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services to ensure that there is no interruption in services that could impact direct patient care. Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility owns the analyzer and the vendor “Gold Standard Diagnostics” is the only vendor who provides the required maintenance services to the analyzer.
