Presolicitation NAICS 811310

Letterkenny Munitions Center (LEMC), located at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements type service contract to perform services and repairs to lightning protection systems. The lightning protection systems consist of 1) integral systems (lightning rods) - air terminals mounted directly to the facility or structure to be protected, down conductors and a grounding system; 2) mast systems - an air terminal (lightning rod) on a mast, down conductors and an earth electrode subsystem; and 3) catenary systems (overhead wire) - one or more overhead wires strung between masts and connected to a grounding system. A Performance Work Statement will be provided with the solicitation. The period of performance of this contract will include one (1) base year and four (4) options years. The procurement will be 100% set aside for small businesses.
