The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) falls under the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The NSWCDD is an engineering, software development, and system test and integration center for Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) components of the US Navy. The purpose of this proposed requirement is to obtain contract support to provide engineering services and test support to NSWCDD. The NSWCDD intends to award on a sole source basis to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc for delivery of a software configuration to support the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) guidance system to increase capabilities for Department of Defense (DoD) platforms in targeting, guidance, command and control while decreasing the need for the main platform to maneuver in order to establish a firing solution with the system.
