The 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh Air Force Reserve Center (AFRC) has a Design-Build requirement in Coraopolis, PA. General Information: This project is for a Base plus 10 Options. For the Base, the project will entitle full-depth pavement repair along the majority of the designated project area, including replacement of the existing storm drain system. This work entails removing the existing asphalt, subbase, and unsuitable subgrade, replacing it with a new drainage layer and underdrains, and then reconstructing the roadway with a new subbase and asphalt surface. The project also includes regrading sections of Sabre Street between buildings 129 and 130 to improve drainage and installing new catch basins tied into the existing storm drainage system. Ancillary work includes adjusting manhole elevations, asphalt sealing, parking block replacement, line painting, and traffic protection, including the addition of bollards around equipment adjacent to Sabre Street at Building 129.
