The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) herein issuance solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace Roofs at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Cumberland), located in Cumberland, Maryland. FCI Cumberland is a Federal Correctional Institutional facility located at 14601 Burbridge Road, SE, Cumberland, Maryland 21502. The work to be performed in association with this project includes the following scope: Replace Roofs throughout the Federal Correctional Institution (approximately 88,084 sq. ft.) and the Federal Prison Camp (approximately 23,315 sq. ft). The responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals unless stated otherwise in the Statement of Work for the removal of the current Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) flat roofing system and the installation of flat Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing material throughout.
