The Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is anticipating a future procurement for a firm-fixed-price construction contract for Maintenance Dredging of the Quinby Creek Federal Navigation Channel located in Accomack County, Virginia. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, is seeking qualified and experienced firms capable of performing maintenance dredging of the Quinby Creek Federal Navigation Channel in Accomack County, Virginia. The work consists of dredging approximately 200,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from the Federal channel. Dredging will be performed using a hydraulic cutterhead pipeline dredge, with dredged material hydraulically placed within the Government-designated overboard placement site in Upshur Bay. The maximum contract pay depth will be -7 feet mean lower low water (MLLW).
