This notice of Intent to purchase a brand name item of a ToolCat 5600. The utility work machine will be engaged in snow removal, grass cutting, material hauling, and must be able to accommodate many different front mount attachments. This product will also provide a front mount sand/salt spreader that is compatible with the utility work machine. As part of this procurement, the Detroit District intends to specify brand name product under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal. This is not a solicitation, and the information contained herein are subject to change or be eliminated for the requirement. Only contractors capable of providing directly compatible equivalent product shall respond. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
