The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis the following items: Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Testing Services (Qty 1 Lot). This requirement is sole sourced to RF Exposure Lab, 802 N. Twin Oaks Valley Rd., San Marcos, CA 92069 as the only testing facility in the US that can meet the specific testing requirements for the radios being tested, which includes: Testing RF at very close ranges (5mm), the measurement error out of tolerance, and the specific electrical testing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to [email protected] no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency.
