The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Administrative Building Roof Replacement, Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA. QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING THE PRESOLICITATION PHASE. SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AFTER THE SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall include all labor, equipment, tools, and materials to demolish, remove, dispose of the existing roof components and install a new roof on the administration office building in accordance with this statement of work at the Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA. The administration building has (2) roof types, consisting of approximately 8000 square feet of asphalt shingles and approximately 1200 square feet of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) flat roof system. The new asphalt roof system shall be installed with asphalt laminated shingles, minimum 360 pounds per square, with a manufacturer's standard 25 year warranty.
