NSN 7R-1660-015854984-P8, REF NR 396608-1, QTY 30 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. This part is a commercial/nondevelopmental/off-the-shelf item. Commercial item descriptions, commercial vendor catalog or price lists or commercial manuals assigned a technical manual number apply. The subject item requires Government source approval or the ability to provide FAA-Certified parts whch possess an FAA certificate, FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tag prior to contract award. The Government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the manufacture of the item. Only the sources previously approved or known to comply with the FAA requirements will be solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delated pending approval of a new source (if source approval is required rather than complying with ablity to furnish an FAA 8130-3 form).
