Statement of Work *NAME BRAND OR EQUAL* Scope of Work: This requirement needs to provide Microsurgical instrumentation to be delivered to C.W. Bill Young VAMC (CWYVAMC) Bay Pines Campus. Background: In the last few months Bay Pines campus has added several new surgeons on board due to Bay Pines growing veteran population and in return growing surgical needs. One such addition is a new vascular surgeon who works particularly with veterans in- need of Microsurgery. Microsurgery requires precision to repair or rebuild microscopic parts of the body like blood vessels and nerves. Because of the necessary precision of Microsurgery, the instrumentation must be extremely precise and without any flaw. Although Bay Pines have vascular Reusable Medical Devises (RMD) and some Microsurgery RMD it has been some time since they have been upgraded. Surgery is in a never-ending evolving door and Sterile Processing Service (SPS) must be able to keep up with the needs of new techniques. One such need is adding microsurgical RMD.
