SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. This Notice is to announce that the Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office(NCO) 15, hereby announces it notice of intent to negotiate with OPEX Corp., a large business on a sole source basis in accordance with(IAW) 38 U.S. Code 8127 and VAAR 852.819-70008 to provide upgraded equipment consisting of: Digital Scanners for the Mail by Meds locations at Murfreesboro, TN and Cheyenne, WY. This equipment represents a critical need providing 2,400 prescriptions being mailed out weekly to Veterans per location. The applicable NAICs Code for this requirement is 334118 Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the network contracting office (NCO) 15, via email to [email protected] to express their ability to provide these products for future needs.
