A 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation will be issued to establish a Firm Fixed Price Contract for NSN 2840-01-326-4066, a FLAMEHOLDER, AFTERBURNER. The award will be for a quantity of 41 EACH. Production units will be FOB: Destination; Inspection /Acceptance: Origin. Contractor First Article Testing and Export Control apply. NSN is deemed critical and is also a Navy Critical Safety Item. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The OEM is RTX Corp. (CAGEs 77445/52661), under p/n 4075497. Approved sources are CF Roark (CAGE 00518), TWIGG Corp. (CAGE 50595), Turbocombustor Tech. (CAGE 64043) and REED Mfg. (CAGE 31YE6). Any other interested manufacturing contractor will have to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package for approval to be added as a source by the assigned ESA.
