This contract action was not available for competition and as such was awarded on a sole source basis. The supporting rationale is as follows. Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veteran Affairs (DMVA) (Commonwealth of Pennsylvania) awarded a contract to SUMMIT FIRE & SECURITY LLC for the repair and replacement of the existing CCTV system and installation of 5 additional cameras. This includes the cost of material and equipment for associated work to be completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Thr contract also provides for Galaxy Access Control System (ACS) Expansion. This includes the cost of material and equipment for associated work to be completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The reason for the noncompetitive basis is the Mission Training Complex (MTC) is currently on an outdated Honeywell system consisting of 18 analog cameras spanning across four buildings. Cameras currently cover entrances to all buildings but have limited views of parking lots and walkways.
