NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 intends to award a sole source contract to Stiles Machinery, Inc, 3965 44th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512-3941. This requirement is for a non-personal services contract to evaluate and repair a Holzma HPP Panel Saw located at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA. The contractor will diagnose the problem, determine a solution, provide parts and restore the panel saw to normal working conditions. The Government intends to acquire this service under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source, Stiles Machinery, Inc., is the only viable vendor to perform the diagnosis and repair of the Holzma Panel saw.
